Internships can last from one to twelve months both for students and graduates, who can start an internship programme within 18 months from the graduation date.

Purposes of an internship programme

An internship is any carefully monitored work or service experience in which a student has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience.
Internships promote academic, career and personal development; they usually are part of the academic program and should offer every opportunity to link classroom learning to workplace experience.

Companies benefit from internships by getting in touch with future potential employees, the internship period is the chance to get in contact with human resources bearer of mentality, customs, new and different practices, belonging to different standards. Furthermore the Company gains more visibility on the University organization by contributing its expertise to the educational enterprise.
